In my travels stateside and abroad, my generational anointing from apostolic lions, prophetic voices, matriarchal intercessors, tutors and governors, the mantles I carry, impartations received, and my experiences of transitions, changes, recollections of watershed moments and markers in the spirit, visions and revelations, I speak as Paul – I come into the visions and revelations of the Lord, meaning there is so much more yet to be seen and to be in receipt of – third heaven revelations we have not been ready to receive and distribute to the necessity of the saints.
Jesus said in St. John 16:12, "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now." Because of the foundational fractures and the compromised skeletal structure of our minds, we are not able to stand up under the weight and mass of revelation that needs to be communicated to the church. Those revelations are compromised because of the lack of present truth, the substitutes – artificial, manufactured, synthetic truths – and because works that had their beginnings in the Spirit, have now been taken over by systems of religion and tradition. I use this as a preface to an experience that I have had recently. I was brought into a very clear and vivid vision of being carried away in the Spirit and I saw wide, open spaces. It was as if the entire blanket of space was filled with bowls, containers, indentations, and spaces. Some were filled with prophetic words, some were filled with mysteries and revelations yet to be revealed, and some were empty waiting for what was yet to come. These spaces were strongly guarded and diligently watched over.
Then I saw another space that looked like a womb or a hatchery, again strongly guarded and watched over by angels of the Lord – but also by their enemies. I could see the life pulsating in its readiness to receive seed; it was overcome with a great fertility. Surrounding this place were angels and they were weary in their wait and anticipation because there was something that was needed, that could not be done without, and they could not fulfill what it was that they were to do without that 'thing' occurring. They were looking and some had their hands behind their back – pacing. Others sitting with their head in their hands, and others kneeling with their wings covering their face laden with the weight. When I asked the Spirit of the Lord what this was, He told me it was the womb that was waiting for prayers decreed: prophetic, sent, assigned words. Words where once the seed of what was conceived and released, the words would grow and mature at an accelerated rate – and once matured, the angels would take those decrees where they needed to be manifested.
The interesting thing about this vision is that it was not something that I was presently experiencing without any knowledge of it while I was experiencing it. It was like I had experienced it before and the Spirit of the Lord brought recall. I attributed that to be, not because I was not in a place to receive it, or that it was interrupted by the enemy, or stalled from receiving it – nor that I received it in an abbreviated form, not in its fullness, I knew in my spirit man, that though it was new to me, I had actually known this place, this womb, before.
I feel led to continue the First 100 Days Fast. I believe this last punctuation of our time this year is so prophetic in nature. I believe the Lord wants the fast culminated with these powerful 21 days filled with prophetic prayer released through prophetic words, prophetic promise, prophetic visions, and prophetic dreams – spoken, expressed, and demonstrated in prophetic worship and praise, prophetic dance, and prophetic celebration.
Prophetic prayer is not asking prayer, it is not a prayer of petition or supplication. It is prayer according to the prophetic word spoken from the past present into the present future, the answers, strategies, and judgments that have already been established before the foundation of the world.
Prophetic prayer is the possession of the operative knowledge of the mind of God. His will, His plans, His purpose [before], His original intent [before], enabling you to prophetically pray from His sovereign perspective and ultimate intention of what He has said [before]. Prophetic prayer is apostolically architectural, meaning through its irrefutable decrees and declarations begins to build, configure, contour, bring shape and form to what must needs and must come to pass. It escalates and intensifies the process of prayer. It summons the angels and ministering spirits commissioned to particular assignments. They recognize the authority of our prayer and articulation and expedite the supernatural facilitation of those prayers. The intention of prophetic prayer is to manifest the evidence that exhibits and platforms God's will in the earth.
This is a prayer of power, position, and authority in that which has been purposed and must come to pass. Prophetic prayer activates prophetic words, past, present, and future, that have been stalled, delayed, restricted, suspended, and incarcerated – releasing them to perform the fullness of their designated and intended end and cannot take place until certain decrees are released.
Prophetic prayer directly affects and influences global, national, regional, and local strangulations, strongholds, and strategies of generational, bloodline, land, and property curses, past, present, and future powers; princes, and principalities, resistances, interferences, spiritual kidnapping and abductions, stolen identities through emulations, impressionists, ventriloquists, conjurers of voices, manufacturers of feats, lying wonders, skilled imposters, sleight of hand, and legerdemain [Psalm 74:4, "Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs."] [I am referencing 'future principalities' [John 16:13] because there are demon forces that were originally designed and created to be released for future assignments and commissions that we are not yet aware of, and there are also angels of the Lord in reserve that have been commissioned and will completely overthrow them demonstrating the ultimate victory through the Blood, Spirit, and Word of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.]
Often we are reluctant to respond to the unction of the Spirit because the things that are to be spoken are so beyond our obedience, our practiced faith, that we get dominated and overcome by fear. Some who have not operated in prophetic prayer may find it a little difficult because we are so used to asking or being overcome with the language of warfare and it will take a practice of doing it. You will have to allow your spirit to take preeminence over your mind, shifting from asking prayer, to decreeing and declaring. You will need to come into vision – and review previous visions, hearing and rehearing with a new listen, what you have heard so that you can announce and herald according to that.
The demonstration and exercise of prophetic prayer, the alacrity of prophetic prayer, is one where the Holy Spirit must have complete dominance over the human intellect, sensory perception, carnal and reason knowledge. Additionally, the body must be available for full possession by the Spirit of God, literally coming under siege so that He may not only speak, but physically choreograph what is needed through the expression of prophetic prayer.
Prophecy: Hebrew: naba, to cause to come forth. This speaks the causative action, an activation, a stirring, a coming forth.
Bones: Hebrew: exam, the framework or shape of a thing. God is moving us into decrees that will shape according to original intent, positioning people in places so that events can take place according to His perfect will.
Say: Hebrew: amar, speaking to the intent or purpose of a thing causing the structural portion to come in line with God's purpose and to reconnect it, reposition it, with God's order creating God's ultimate unity.
Get in the spirit and access what God has said, what God has willed, and prophesy it, prophesy it, prophesy it, prophesy it, prophesy it, prophesy it, prophesy it, prophesy it!
In prophetic prayer, we are asking for what has already been received – we are faithing for what already is. And this is what the angels of the Lord were waiting for – us – the mouth of two or three witnesses to actually confirm what has been confirmed. It has to be said on earth as it is and shall be manifested in heaven.
Prophetic prayer is asking according to the prophetic word that was given, and praying according to the promise. The prophetic accelerates the answer to prayer. It administrates and governs events that are related to the answer. It imparts strategies and gives specificity to prayer. And the prophetic commands and directs prayer towards its finish, its final and glorious conclusion, the full manifestation of what has been decreed before.
Another manifestation of prophetic prayer is that we come into predestined vision seeing the end from the beginning and seeing that and that only. Supernatural vision is a constraining and stabilizing force to our humanity because we have been so submitted to sight, sensory perception, and reason knowledge that we are often detoured because of loss of focus in what God has shown us. When there is supernatural vision, the Lord provides obedience, the obedience that is necessary to respond to what is required. Paul said, "I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision. Acts 26:19 We must use the prophetic to vision those things. We must believe it, receive it, think it, we must see ourselves in it, doing it, possessing it, and it shall come to pass.
We are to send sovereign, predestined, ordained decrees – prayers in which answers have already been given, provision and supplies already released – that is going to be our utility through these 21 days, and that is how we are going to pray.
This is what I call a judicial, prophetic prayer of authority where you feel a dominating force of God’s authority as you are speaking. You feel that there is nothing that can be gainsaid or resisted against what you have been sent to proclaim. When you come under siege by this power – I have experienced it – it is wonderful to see it demonstrated because of the level and the intensity of the God-kind of faith that accompanies it. You actually know that as you are speaking that the Judge of the earth is speaking through you.
There comes a time in our lives and in our assignment where time has been violated and we are tardy in so many places. Many times we don’t understand [Luke 24:45, "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,"] that prophetic decrees are a sign of a great recovery that God wants us to experience in the adjustment of time, situations, circumstances, relationships, and events, and putting into the present future what has been in the present past. I have had this experience many times when, in prayer, I languaged in my human tongue a decree, or spoke something that was to be. The enormity of what I was asking startled my humanity and my mind because of the thing asked. It was bigger, it was larger, it was greater than my human understanding.
There was no room for it, I couldn’t accommodate it, I couldn't contain it, I didn’t know where to put it, didn’t see any natural way that this could happen. The enemy assaults our spirit to make us think we are in error when in reality we are having a supernatural experience where our mind is being suspended so that it cannot interfere with the word that our spirit is in receipt of. [Daniel 10:1, "...a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision."] When this happened to me, I immediately received what I call a future-faith- forward, an anointing of faith, confidence, and belief that I had not experienced. There was no trophy or commendation that I was awarded for the thing that I was speaking – I had no reference for it, no experience with this faith. But I believe, with holy apostles, prophets, teachers, and intercessors, there is a thing that occurs, a supernatural forward-future-faith that a person can be temporarily mantled with for a time so that an ability can be received, a feat demonstrated, and a decree uttered without wavering and doubt. Judges 14:19, "And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them,"
Ephesians 6:19 declares, "and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly." Exodus 4:11, "who hath made man's mouth...have not I the Lord?" Jeremiah 1:9-10, "Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant."
And this is our instruction for these 21 days – that we are going to prophetically announce, herald, decree, send forth, and publish that which already is and is to come, and is to come, and is to come. We are going to prophetically pray the finish! We will speak as the mouth of the Lord and our words during this fast shall not return void [Is. 55:11 KJV So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. AMP So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.] for He always speaks a proceeding word, and a continuing sentence.
